Engine pushing oil out of engine breather?

Hello,
I am new to this site and need some advice.

I have just got a Honda CRM 250 1991 MK2,I done a deal with a guy from ebay and paid £425,the bike had no keys,I have managed to get a second hand lock set for £50.
The bike still would not start, no spark but after bypassing the cut out switch the bike started.
The bike pulls and runs good! the bike has coverd 10,000 km and is in nice condition, its bizare that the bike has been sitting unused for 8 years.

There ia an issue with the engine it is spitting oil out of the engine breather, I thought at first - too much oil in the engine, so I drained and top back up with 0.600L but sill doing the same thing.

I have called Leisure Trial and they said that maybe its the crankshaft seals?

I have removed the engine from the bike and started the rebuild,I have checked the cylinder and piston for wear and that seems fine.

There is movement in the conrod does anybody know the tolerance?

I am going to replace the Cranshaft Main Bearings and the seals.
Can anybody help with part numbers? as I think this Leisure Trial firm are very expencive.

Crankshaft Main Bearings Quality Bearing each Mk 1/2/3 £15.95
Crankshaft rebuild New con rod & big end assembly complete with thrust washers £164.95
Crankshaft Seal Kits Both seals £28.95 Crankcase Centre Gasket £11.25
Clutch Cover Gasket £12.10

I will also need a cylinder gasket kit or a complete seal and gasket set?

If anybody can recommend anymore info regarding you should also replace this taht would be a great help
Thanks

Kirk

I would agree with LT about the oil blowing out.

There should be a little side play on the conrod but no movement up and down (90 degrees to the crank).

You might save a few quid on the bearings by going to another supplier and a few more by using cheaper bearings. You might save a few pence on the gaskets.

Main bearings are 63/28.

Seals - 38x52x8 or 38x52x9 and 22x34x7

I had the same symptoms on my MK2, my bike was running fine but would intermittantly pump oil out of the breather. The fix for mine turned out to be the small oil seal that sits behind the oil pump. You have to remove the clutch cover to get to it, when I took mine off the oil seal had fallen out of the casing and was allowing 2 stroke oil to drain into the gearbox.
I also recently had to replace the main bearings on my bike, the items that came out were 63/28 but on receiving some bearings from LT one was a C3 spec bearing. Some assistance from guys on here suggested the 63/28 was correct but LT insisted they have been installing C3 bearings for as long as they can remember. Technically it seems either will be fine but not a mixed pair, I sourced a standard bearing locally ( price difference from the KOYO bearings from LT was marginal ) and returned the C3 to LT.
Subsequently I have stripped a spare engine ( big end failed ) and found that the main bearings in that are both the C3 versions.
