Engine oil level?
Engine oil level?
hi, how do you chaps check your engine oil on mk 2's?, there is no dipstick or level window , do you just have to empty the oil and put a certain amount back in?

If you look down then to the right of the oil fill cap on the engine, you`ll see a 10mm nut with a phillips head.
With the bike straight up, remove this nut, fill with oil till the oil starts to flow out of the hole, then replace nut.

just to add that you should leave the bike upright and let it finish draining from the oil fill hole before reinstalling the oil level plug.
