Starting woes shortly after new plugs

I have only had the bike for a few weeks but I have already gone through 2 spark plugs. I seem to run the bike for a couple of days (quite high mileage) and then suddenly come the morning it wont start unless bumped for a little while down the road. I change the plug, it sorts it until I ride it again. I've brought a "aid starting" plug from leisure trail but i don't want to put it in if its only gonna get killed after 200 miles. I am going to check that the oil pump is set up properly when I get a spare minute. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

What plugs?
Condition when removed from bike?
Have you checked all the usual suspects, filter, jets, exhaust, ?

Also, check the plug, the night before, it's not unknown for the carbs, inlet valve to let fuel by, that then ends up in the crank case bowls, waiting to be sucked up in the morning, and foul+ flood the engine when first kicked over.

I've just taken a picture of the plug. It looks how I would expect it to. If the plug gets wet by accidently opening the throttle when kicking could this sometimes affect it?

I am using BR8ES Plug. Its about 200 miles but put in a week ago.

I did a carb overhaul with new gaskets and jets. I then set the mixture screw up. New honda air filter. I am running standard expansion chamber but with a dep end can.

do you know what oil it has been using ? use a top grade oil, silkoline comp 2 injector oil ( its a oringe / yelow colour ) the red /blue stuf is cheap stuff, if you are not sure drain the oil out and refill it with good stuff, then set the pump up, at full throttle it should line up with the marks,

look at the pdf pics

http://www.offwidth.co.uk/bike/crm_rebuild/crm250.pdf

use hi octain fuel 97 98 99 ron

when starting the bike , choke full on , no throtle and kick, when its starts hold the reves on the throtle and switch off the choke after a few mins,

make sure the mix screw is set at 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 turns out from full in, look for any air leaks on the carb rubbers and make sure the cap is screwed on tight on the top of the carb,

if you still have problems with it , look at the needle setting on the carb , if you drop the needle lower on the clip it will make the bike run les rich, if you rase it it makes it more rich, see what it is then lower the needle by 1 down,

cheak your ht lead is tight on the spark plug cap, if it swivels , un screw it and snip a bit off ( 5mm ) then screw it back on,

when its running dose it tick over ok and not die if you left it for 2 mins, if its low on compresion ( worn piston rings ) it will die, also it will foul up the plug when riding,,

cheak all the other things first , good fuel / good oil / carb set right and no air leaks / spark lead and plug cap and plug ( i use b8eg racing ) air filter clean / throttle cable can return fully back easley and not to tight, oil pump set up right / exhaust is not blowing or blocked,
