Eric Gorr is a well-known 2 stroke tuner and author.
He has some samples of his books ...here.

That is a superb article. I love reading stuff by people who know what they are talking about.

There are a couple interesting books you might want to check.

1) Eric Gorr (2004), Motocross & Off-Road Performance Handbook, 3rd edition, Motorbooks, ISBN 0-7603-1975-8, 224pp
2) Eric Gorr (2008), Mini Motocross & Pit bike Performance Handbook, Motorbooks, ISBN-13: 978-0-7603-2869-5, 160pp.

I own both of them and they are a nice read, anything related to motocross is well covered, from suspension to engine tuning.

Does Stan Stephens have any status outside of the UK? BB.

Stan Stephens is doing a great job and that counts for Mick Abbey and Bob Farnham, too.
Though, I wouldn't like to compare any of them with Eric Gorr nor make a personal statement about the who is best "debate". ;)

Talking about books, I have a couple links for pdf files, let me know if anyone is interested.
