wiring a cdi unit to a coil

Ive been having this problem for quite some time now and not been able to find the answer anywhere. Basically I want to wire a cdi unit of a honda crm250 mk2 1992 to the coil. More specifically what colour wires go where. Ive asked around everywhere, looked at two workshop manuals but there isnt any clear indication. Even a photograph would be fine. Thanks for your help

how do mate, is it just the colours of the wires that go from the cdi to the coil itself youre after? if you can wait ive got a crm mk2 and can take some pics when its light tomorrow?

Yeah thats exactly what im after, if you could do that and upload them to something like imageshack.us or something that would be brilliant. Thanks in advanced, also any wiring related to the magneto would be a bonus but not something you have to do if it causes extra work.

no worries mate, if you need any more pics or vids let me know, ill email you them pics later mate just doing a piston change on a mtx 125, the vid shows the wiring from the magneto up to the 2 plugs where it splits off, 3 yellow wires connect to the other 3 yellow wires then the coloured wires go to cdi and coil, on the coil its the yellow and black which is power wire and then a green wire which is earth, have your wires been butchered or something?

Oh right fair enough pal when ever you have time, should be able to get the job done with this information but every little helps. As for the state of the wires well lets say a mate bought a bike quite cheap and couldn get it working, when i opened it up well.....i could see why lol

right pics are sent to your email mate with a quick explanation, the coloured wires from the magneto ( not including the yellow ones) all connect up to the matching colours on the cdi then theres 2 wires from the cdi, a yellow and black wire ( power) connects to the coil and a green wire ( earth) connects to the coil hopefully that should get you going
