CRM 250 AR 1999 INDICATORS!!

Post by steptoe » 29 Jan 2011, 17:12

Hi,
I have just bought my first CRM, can someone please inform me if the both front indicators are supposed to be illuminated while the bike is running. I was told it did this because it was an import, clarification would be good before I take it for an MOT.
Thanks in advance.

Yes indicators are supposed to be on all the time on a 1999 AR. Mine passed its MOT last week with indicators on all the time.

Hi Iv got a mk3 and its front indicators stay on all the time. Your correct its because its an import as far as I know you can re wire them so they do work normally. I think that in some countrys they have to stay on as they are classed as a type of side light. Im taking mine for its MOT on wednesday with the indicators as they are.

:D Mine always passes like that, I think they call them running lights, when use in that mode.

I posted info on how to rewire AR indicators so they work properly and also use a solid state (ie waterproof and vibration proof) relay ages ago. It's around somewhere if you have a search.
