oil pump shaft seal failiure

Hi everyone,
New to the site and now the proud owner of a mk2 250.
As ive never owned one of these b4 im still finding my feet around it and what is right and wrong.
after buying the bike I topped up the 2 stroke tank, drained and refilled the gear oil (my own piece of mind) and thought everything was great. After getting the bike legal i took it for a spin. very soon i realised the rear brake was getting less and less affective. to my horror when i stoped to have a look see the whole rear wheel was covered in oil the swing arm and the disc. what the FK. i could see that the kick start shaft was dribbling oil, infact every seal was pissing out oil. i knew i had only put around 650ml of gear oil in the gearbox...most oil was spraying out from the breather pipe.
after creaping home i found i had virtually no 2 stroke left.... the 2 stroke pump shaft seal was passing oil from the tank to the gearbox...the shaft seal is a 9.5x16.10 and no one on the www seals to keep the seal meaning u have to buy a complete new pump.
Has anyone else had this problem and what was your cure apart from ditching the pump for premix or paying a small fortune for a new pump.
Oh the only seals i can get are 9x16x4 or 10x16x4 but not a 9.5x16x10
