how to test my rectifier

hi guys i have electrical problems with my bike how can i test my rectifier regulator ?
its too hot when the bike is on
is that normal ?

take it too your friendly Honda dealer and they should be able to bench check it - they did mine, took about two 5 minutes and didn't charge me anything!

TwinAir filter, Braided Brake Hoses, Swingarm/Shock bearings done!, Rear Shock overhauled and customised by G-Force, 14-44 Gearing, Exhaust decoked (fun with Caustic Soda!), DEP silencer.
