Electrics (behind the headlight)

Hi All, twice now I have had the CRM just stop on me! and both time after taking the plug out no spark! then I took one set of the side bolts off the headlight cowl and disconnected a few electrical blocks and then reconnected them and the spark has come back,
so question is what's the best way of taking the electrical connectors apart and cleaning the contacts! now the male parts I can see you could get a small brush and clean the contacts of oxidisation! but how would you refresh the female side? there's no way you could clean them that I can think of??
help needed!!
Mark

You can buy electrical cleaner, or use an airline, or both. You can also get very tiny soft brushes in sometimes or something similar.

Yeah, just spray the hell out of them with aerosol cleaner.
You can get tiny files if theyre really cacked up

ACF 50 is really good once they are clean.

Cheers I will look in the local motor store tomorrow, twice this has happened now getting embarrassing! the CRM is usually the only bike that "just keeps going!"

Took the headlight off yesterday to start cleaning the electrics, pulled the connectors apart they didn`t look bad, but there are I think 4 in a metal bracket together, and one that's white with 3 wires, (anyone know what this one does?) this one had come unclipped and was the problem I reckon, if I pulled it apart the engine would not start, so quick clean and pushed back together properly! hopefully job done!!
