Crank case repair job.
Hi guy's,
So after the polava with splitting my crank case around the oil drain plug, I have had a repair job done, and this is it!

I am pretty happy with the work, although I do still need to test it. There is however one problem, with the gasket so close to the repair job, it has ended up damaging it slightly with the heat. I am going to use some sealant that I got today that I'm hoping will do the job. This is what I have got.

I have noticed that there is a piece missing now I have the engine back. There used to be a white piece, it was inside the pipe that connects to the 2 stroke reservoir that carries it to the 2 stroke pump (I hope I'm explaining this correctly). That appears to have been lost somewhere, I am wondering if it is an essential part? Do I need to replace it?
If so then could you please help me by letting me know what it's called and where I may be able to come across one?

Yes, it sounds about right. That's what I thought it looked like anyway. Are they universal fit?

Re: Crank case repair job.
Seems most likely to be a filter.
