Mark 2 engine in a mark 1 bike won't run !
Hello,
Im struggling to get a spark, and suspect the CDI.
But,
Is there any reason a mark 2 engine wouldn't work in my mark 1?
I have put the mark 1 flywheel on it, and the stator, and the pickups.
I have the bike rigged up with a kind of rolling road, so can simulate bump starting it.
Turn the ignition on, and I get one single spark, and then nothing at all until I turn the ignition off and back on, and then get another single spark.
