Front brake master resavoir service

Post by Lukep749 » 15 Aug 2014, 18:54

Hi all

Can anybody offer some information, I have stripped the front brake down on my mk3 due to the rubber cover that seals the pump was split and worn.

I looked on e bay for a service kit but couldn't find one for MK 3, so rang LT, fifty odd quid for service kit. :OMG

Question

1- does anybody know if other models service kits are compatable, I can get 89 /90 model for £19.00. I would prefer to Keet standard if possible.
2- would it be better just to dump the OM and replace the whole lever ? If so any recommendations whitch one is best, seen knackered uses a Crf 450 one.

I would guess (but don't know) that this will do - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Front-Master- ... 5b0007531a

OR

Depending on what bits you need...............

Thanks knackered, bikes on "L" reg so presumed 1995 / 6 so was unsure if 1991 would do, I will go for the all balls kit, looks like it has the bits I need.

Thanks again
