Hi,

When I rebuilt mine I used a Wiseco piston after reading this (http://www.johnnystoybox.com/piston_comparison.htm).
Got mine from Eastwood Racing in Kent. Small end is part no. B1014. Piston is part no. 562M66xx where the xx is the oversize you need. While having the rebore done, I had Stan Stephens do a stage 2 tune. Also I removed the balance shaft and blanked off the hole. Minimal vibration issues, little less torquey but not a lot. Picks up a lot quicker.
If money runs to it a Boyesen rad valve and bigger carb added a bit to mine, especially lower down. Obviously full DEP, FMF etc pipe helps.
Mk 2. Full DEP system. Boyesen Rad Valve and PWK33. Stan Stephens stage 2 tune. Wiseco piston. No balance shaft. Trailtech Vapor.

Look in the FAQs for tuning. Also the johnnystoybox entries are suspect as the conrod kit he recommends will NOT fit.

Knackered is right concerning the con rod. The piston and small end are correct though.
