Do you think it makes a difference the way the spindle is put in - i have the bolt on the sprocket side - i see in the pic there you dont ?????????????????

It makes no difference. "personally" I prefer the axle to be put in from the other side, because if the axle does pick up on the bearings at all it simple tightens the bolt down harder onto the nut [IMO]. Also for me it aids holding the back brake on whilst tightening down the axle.

I had the same problem with my front wheel, found that the spacer tube inside the hub was too short, i replaced the spacer tube, no more problem.

I have changed the bearings and the seals - i turned the sprocket bolts around - removing the washers from the front and putting them on the back - the holes on the sprocket are countersunk for the bolts to sit into - last time i got a new sprocket set i let a bike shop do it - and clearly they did it wrong!!!

since the seals had perished slightly and the sprocket bolts were set wrong it started to rub on the swingarm...

problem solved ......thank you all for your help

yea - sorry about that....
i got some supermoto wheels too - when i put the bike in for MOT i put the supermoto's on - but at the same time i got the shop to replace all the sprockets on the dirt wheels / supermotos / front sprocket / chain
when the bike came back with the MOT - i switched the wheels over - it was a tight fit but run OK
the seals wearing slightly made all the difference
