Hello from West Sussex

Post by chrisb »

Hello from a new member on this forum. I haven't got a CRM yet but I'm working on it, and would be happy to hear from anyone with a decent bike for sale - especially if they aren't too far from West Sussex!

Best wishes to all,

Chris.

Thanks everyone, for all the good wishes, very much appreciated. To answer rhysdad I would consider spending around £1300 - £1500 and would hope to get a reasonable Mk3 for that. Is that a realistic budget?
Best wishes to all, Chris.

Slider, thanks for that, yes I hope I can get hold of a half decent bike around that price. The servicing and day-to-day fixing is fine by me, I'm looking forward to it. I'm just not sure I would fancy tackling a rebuild as an intro to CRM ownership. It's been a long time since I could be found under a car/bike with a workshop manual gripped between my teeth!
Still looking forward to it though!! Rgds Chris.

welcome to the forum mate, i'm still waiting to get my CRM, had me eye on a couple, but the old stash keeps getting spent on other things.

Hi Davey Munroe, thanks for the welcome. It looks like forum members are to be found right across the country! I'm still working on getting hold of a bike, I'll post here when I am successful in finding a decent one.
All the best, Chrisb.
