I'm going to make meself an engine bashplate out of some gash ally I've got.

has anyone got photos or top tips that'll help me get it right.

your on the right track looking for photos and ideas
try copying one that you've seen at a bike store or on a
mates bike If I where you I would make a template first
try making it out of cardbord that way you can fit it to the bike
and see what it looks like and then you can transfer the shape
to your metal . CHECK IT TWICE CUT IT ONCE :!: :!: :lol:

Ive got a homemade bashplate at home that Big Rich made out of checkerplate.

If you send me you address ill draw round it and send it to you.

Bargos,
I too would be interested in a plan of a bash plate for my CRM as I have some nice checkerplate aluminium in my garage crying out to be used.

As a side thought would it be possible to post the dims, sketches, hole positions etc on the forum with the administrators permission.

Failing that, if I send you my address would you post another copy off to me too.
