Hi jeff,
As my MK2 is still in lots of bits..  ..Ive just whipped the sensor (that was working fine last time I used the bike) out and done a check.

Cold - 565 ohms

Lifted from a mug of just boiled water - 72 ohms and rising quite quickly as it cooled

That was testing across the centre pin to the thread, using a digital meter.
Hope that helps.
Regards KK
I phoned the Ramblers today, but the bloke on the phone just went on and on....

Hi Mike,
what with work, birthdays and a cpl other things, Ive not delved deeper than whipping the barrel off, which revealed nowt much wrong..But, I did manage to score a very good MK 3 bottom end complete off weee bay (the one with the broken casing where the kickstart shaft resides) at a good price and when I collected it, the bloke had the barrel, head and a good piston which he offered me, so for £100 for the lot ive got a good lot of spares. Im hoping to get to it next week.
Regards KK
