Hello from Wales

Hello everyone, newbie from Wales.

I've basically joined the forum to get some more info on a CRM250, before possibly buying one. So be prepared for a whole load of 'newbie questions' !!

Currently a MTX200 owner who is pulling his hair out trying to fix the 2nd gear selection problems, so are starting to look around for an alternative trailie.
Started to look a XR250, but don't really want a heavy old thumper. I rode a XLR250 in the Philippines and loved it, but there don't seem to be an abundance of spares around. Also looked at a XLM230 (perfect for a 'short arse' like me), but don't fancy a bike with just an electric start.

So on the face of it a CRM250 two smoker is perfect for me!

:D :D Welcome Gwern, good choice mate, all the the normal caveats apply when buying a CRM, but your price guide should be based more on condition, than just age, or mileage.

Mk1 is about an inch shorter than the others. A bit softer suspension as well, though they are all pretty soft :!: .
