Bottom End rebuild Checklist
Bottom End rebuild Checklist
I've been looking at doing a full rebuild of my bike and have come up with this for list of parts i will need.
Does this seem about right or some of the things overboard?
I assume the mainshaft bearings are the crankshaft bearings?
BEARING: £17.97 - R/H Mainshaft bearing G/Box
BEARING: £6.47 each - R/H & L/H Countershaft bearing X 2
BEARING: £8.78 - L/H Mainshaft bearing
OIL SEAL: £3.25 - L/H crank seal
OIL SEAL: £3.47 - Front sprocket seal
OIL SEAL: £1.61 - Gear lever seal
OIL SEAL: £2.44 - Clutch lever seal
OIL SEAL: £16.53 - R/H crank seal
BEARING: £20.38 each - Main bearings X 2
BEARING: £10.48 - Balancershaft bearing
OIL SEAL: £3.03 - Kickstart seal
OIL SEAL: £2.30 - Waterpump seal
OIL SEAL: £32.65 - Waterpump seal/mechanical
Oh and also is a ProX TRX250 piston still the go? 89 model wasnt it? I can get that kit in Australia so I'm hoping. The rest i have to get overseas.
Thanks for any input.

Re: Bottom End rebuild Checklist
Not sure as don't have part no.s or sizes but looks OK. Missing 1 balance shaft bearing I think.
You need a complete gasket set.

Re: Bottom End rebuild Checklist
Do you know what part no's i need or would that just help you in figuring if there the right parts? Cause I'd like to make sure these are right before i buy as its not cheap.

Re: Bottom End rebuild Checklist
The PROX piston I have in mine which is bored out 1.5mm over standard is
Model TRX250;'87-'89
2 stroke 67.50MM
Part No. 01.1300.1.50
This is the numbers on the box
I assume the standard bore size would be 66.00 and that the 1.50 would be missing off the part no.
