Re: New member from somerset
If it passed an MOT 6 months ago and hasnt been used since or 2 year previous there shouldnt be much wrong.
Seeing as youve already got bikes i expect you no the basics eg checking bearings (wheel, head and swingarm), pads, discs, tyres. anything that you could use as ammunition to get some money off
Things CRM specfic: Speedo is KM's as standard and most have a sticker over to convert to MPH, the mileage will be in kms so it will just over half what its showing when converted to miles, eg 5000kms = 3106 miles
Check the head and pipe before he starts it, if its warm ask why? may have trouble starting from cold.
If the engine is cold then if youve got the right knack then it should start 1st or 2nd kick, I always, turn fuel on and choke, wait 10 secs. get kick start to highest point and just turn engine over slowly twice, then on the 3rd kick give it all yove got and should start right up and can be taken off choke after about 5 secs. thats the way i start mine and never fails.
Im sure someone else will be able to give you some more info with things AR specific
