sticking fork

I've just replaced the oil/springs in my mk3 and now one of the forks doesn't feel quite right. It seems as if it is reluctant to rebound after it is compressed. I thought it might be something to do with the new springs/spacers but the other fork leg is fine and they were both fine before I changed the springs. Any ideas what might be up? I havent changed anything other than this.
By the way - According to the box the new springs came in, they are for a RM250 and are the right diameter of 41mm and came with some spacers of approx 20mm to make them 485mm long

Could be a bent stanchion, or a binding spring, could also be twisted,whatever, it's got to come of the bike to be checked.

I had a smilar problem, turns out, I was springing the fork legs together before nipping the four nyloc nuts up on the spindle clamp - I later found out that the legs shouldn't be sprung together and the problem went away.

well I had the forks off when I changed the oil etc so they were done individually. i don't think it's bent or anything as it was fine before I changed them. Being as I followed the same process when changing each of them and one s completely fine I dont really get it. may have to rip them apart a bit more conclusively and see what's what!

when you tighten the fork clamps, dont over tighten them as that will make the forks stick, also bounce the front end a few time before tightening the axle clamps, this makes sure all is aligned.
