pick up gap....

Post by voodookid37 » 01 Sep 2010, 23:20

can anyone advise what the ideal gap should be between the pickups and the" dimples" on the fly wheel on a mark one or 2. is there a specific gap ......mine are just clearing and no more.

(because i forgot/didn,t measure them before i took them off the trashed engine...doh!!

thanks in advance..............d :D

:? To the best of my knowledge, it's a prefixed air gap only.

guys..thanks .just with having to bush the pickups out ,i have set them as just clearing. had hoped there was a set measurement to allow for inaccuracy in my machining. Say of x mm etc
