Post by leecoulson » 03 Oct 2010, 21:53

Is it possible to remove the auto lube system ( i think thats what its called)
when i pour my 2st oil in it doesnt tell me the level at what the oils at,
so i just mix it in with my petrol.

the auto lube system can be done away with ,but there should be a sight tube on the rhs of the frame to show the level if your not getting a reading on it it looks like theres a blockage in the pipe ,take it off and have a check round

Don't forget that adding oil to the petrol means you will most likely need to rejet too.

:( Much better left as is, you will soon acquire the frequency topping up schedule.
Roughly, every third fill of the fuel tank.
It's also a prescriptive dosage, thus, only adding the oil required [ once set accurately]for any given R.P.M., so less coking up of internal workings. I.M.O.
