Fixed My Mk2 from bucking and hunting in the traffic
Fixed My Mk2 from bucking and hunting in the traffic
My MK2 is great in the traffic now and also does not idle high for 6-10 seconds when hot.
The angree wasp is run in after the total engine rebulid now.
What stoped the Bucking and Hunting?
New pilot jet,new carb gasket kit,new air filter, new pro seal filter gasket from ebay, new boyston reeds, new spark plug, new main jet size also.
carb set up correctly.
Taymar racing in sevenoaks fixed it - and tested it
Its basicly rides very well and is fine in the rush hour traffic.
I have also noticed the the power comes on earlier than before
Martin the guy that runs Taymar who is a RDLC fanatic ,never rebuilt a CRM before - he states they are easy to work on than YPVS'S,It was very nice to see a RDLC500 engine in bits while I was there he is restoring the whole bike for a customer with a £10,000 budjet
If you love a 2 stroke go see Taymar Racing.
Still not to sure if I can load a picture of my MK2?
The rain in kent is sore at the moment so no CRM usage at this time

That seems not too unreasonable. Parts seem quiet high, but im sure it all adds up quite quick, the odd bearing kit, gasket kit, piston, rings etc
Did you bring the engine into them, then have to refit to the frame yourself ??
Also regarding the hunting, what gearing are you running. I read here that taller gearing helps a lot but you loose that motorcross feeling.
