which wires go to which pins number, on the LED control rela
hi guys
i hope you are well.
i need some information regarding wiring on an AR.
which wires go to which pins number, on the LED control relay on an AR?
The relay has 2 block connectors, one with 4 pins and one with 3 pins.
On our bike, the wires that should go to the 3 pin connector are snapped (so close to the connector i cant see the wire colour) - i need to know which wire colour goes into pin 1, which colour goes to the pin 2 (middle pin) and which wire colour goes to pin 3.
I have a manual and wiring diagram for the bike, but it only shows the 7 wires in total - not which pins each wire actually goes into in the block connector.
Any help would be greatly appreciated - photos would be really great.
The relay in question is called "control box" in the workshop manual. It controls the LED oil level and temp warning lights in the clocks.
The 4 pin block connector on our bike is ok - it connects directly to the dash (4 wires) to work the LED warning lights.
The 3 broken wires i need to rejoin go to the oil level warning switch (in the oil tank) and the PGM ECU (a signal for engine temp). I just need to know which wires go to which pins.
thanks

Sorry forgot all about this till I just happened to see your post again. the wire colours are as follows. I have numbered them with one being closest to the edge of the relay (the connector is in one corner). Maybe the diagram helps....lgingell wrote:hi guys
