Not that I have ridden in that area but at a guess (sic) its near Chirk, Wrexham, the first one is probably the byway off the A5 near Froncysyllte. use the os maps on bing.com to view the byway.
looks like Northumbria TRF may need to pay a visit if we can get a guide to show us around

Cracking. I'll take you up on it. The only (?) probem I have is that last week I found out I broke my sternum 6 weeks ago doing an enduro and need to let it mend. The doctor and hospital can't work out how its not mending (perhaps it was the 4 days riding inn Spain followed by the Cambrian rally)xander77 wrote:I am up for showing you round, no problem, but there are better guides on the throttlemonkey virtual TRF site! but I do have some good routes round there if you don`t mind the odd U-Turn??

Re: Chirk
Wincher's are a breed of 4X4 apart, that go out on to Byway's with the express intention of getting stuck, then, well winching each other out of the mire begins, they quite often create the said mire themselves.xander77 wrote:Spelling getting worse I meant whats a wincher? a 4x4?xander77 wrote:"shame the winchers decided to play on one though
Whats a whincher? 4x4? I am lost!!
Any convenient tree or gate post is often used as the anchor point for these antics, they give the responsible 4x4 users a bad name and also give ammunition for more lane closures to the anti/Rambliar brigade.
