bad ground - 3.5 ohms is too high. (always check your meters lead resistance as well in case your meter is bad)

Not 100% sure and id love to know. Should the resistance be 0.1 ohms?

my meters not showing any resistance between the leads so i think the 3.5 ohms is correct reading, i will attempt to run in a new earth wire when i'm next home and see what difference that makes

Now after some fiddling this morning and running a new earth wire in just for the indicators (the rear light seems to be working find with the original earth) i can say that all 4 indicators were of equal brightness but would they flash, not at all, the front ones flash too fast and the rears just flicker, could this be flasher relay?
