MK2 odd noise under load
MK2 odd noise under load

Sounds realy crap , but when I really gas it up the rev band she just about takes off and doesn't miss a beat. Strange ??
Already changed the air filter, fitted a platinum plug, fitted new O ring and sprockets 13/45
Any ideas , or should I just leave it at leisure trail and let them sort it?
Help , it is doing my head in !!!

Mine does it bigtime, but I just avoid it by changing up later or by accelerating a bit harder?
I read somewhere that by fitting the Mk.3 / AR chain guide that has a sort of fin on the side, this can help? I'll let you know as I've got one coming!!
Others say it could be the powervalve chattering?
Is it the balancer shaft bearing perhaps because I've read elsewhere that this can go, making it noisey but doesn't affect performance??
Anyone?

my advice is to rev it out-remember its a 2 stroke and it is designed to be revved HARD. If you were to ride it like a 4 srtoke then you will be more likely to run into all sorts of trouble. These bikes dont have bags of low end tourque to pull you out of trouble, get the engine singing.

brmmmmmmmm brmmmmmmm

Sotred it - noise has been eradicated!!!
those boys at LT have done it again.
as soon as I mentioned my clatter from the old dear at low speeds under load , they took £40 from me in exchange for a later style black rubber chain guide with a sharks fin as fitted to the AR.
I fitted it in quick sticks and now have a bike which is even better to rideand is most of all Clatter Free
many thanks to LT , \"Mi ducks\"
