Confusion about jet sizes

Post by adic3001 » 28 Jul 2012, 10:45

Hi all

I am trying to find some new main jets in different sizes. My carb is a keihin PE31C 32MM.
I want stock size plus one size bigger & one size smaller, possibly more?
I know stock size is 128 so am I correct in thinking I need sizes 127,128 & 129 or do they go up/down in smaller increments?

I am really confused about this as the site I have been advised to use is: http://www.allensperformance.co.uk/keihinjets.html
And on there it says "the jet sizes go up in steps of 2 & 3, this is probably to avoid engraving .5 on the jets"

If anyone has any info on what sizes I should be looking for &/or how this works out the site I mentioned I would be extremely grateful as I'm really struggling here! Also if anyone knows anywhere else in the uk I could purchase them that would also be useful.

I have learned so much from this forum over the past week & I look forward to helping others with the knowledge I have and will acquired.

Many thanks for looking.

Adi

Up will be 130 and 132. Down would be 126 or possibly 125.
