Pipe under reed box
Hi there- can anyone tell me what the breather pipe is (towards the kick start assembly) just under and close to the reed box assembly on the top of the main engine housing?? -Is it just a breather tube to under the suspension spring? It isn't even shown in the Leisuretrail manual...

It's the gearbox breather tube. If you are going through deep water you want the end to come up on top of the airbox otherwise you could get water in the gearbox oil.

Thanks Knackered- I did wonder why my breather tube was hanging down with the carb breather pipes; it didn't make sense! Still can't find it on the Leisuretrail manual.

AS an aside whilst your in that area, if you ride through water of any depth, relocating the breather hose[ not overflow hose ] will also pay dividends.njhardy wrote:Thanks Knackered- I did wonder why my breather tube was hanging down with the carb breather pipes; it didn't make sense! My suggestion is either in the air box as well, or up through the headstock.
