Hi Guys
I have been a member for a while but never introduced I Don't think
My CRM250 has died
I'm not the most technical whizz with bikes, More Tractors
She has been eating spark plugs for a while, and she doesn't seem to have as much compression as she used to.
she has been sat in the shed rusting for the last 6 months and its a crying shame
Is there anywhere in the UK that I could send her to? or would it be easier to sell off parts and scrap her, she has been my first and only bike I have had her over 10 years
Any help would be much appreciated, I Will also give a discount off my site to anyone that helps me out, It being Christmas and all

Hello and welcome, that's a shame to hear about the CRM. I would have thought if you can find your way around a large lump of squirt engine the CRM should be a doddle.
Certainly a rebore should liven things up. Start by stripping the top end out to view the size of the current piston.
Check, whilst the engine is still in the frame, any play on either end of the crank shaft, for main bearing wear.
It would be advisable to replace any of these at the same time as the top end was off.
The level of work require would dictate whether the engine was best removed from the frame or not.
Good luck.
Mike
