They no longer make Twin Air powerflow kits for Xr 400

Post by mudboots » 05 Apr 2013, 07:10

Got an email from Twin Air this morning its only taken them 3+ weeks to get back to me telling me they no longer make the kit but can supply only the filter and will refund my money if I want !.
So I am wondering what to do now I don't want to buy a standard XR400 one as its to restricted and as I have no air filter at all with my bike ?
Don't suppose one of you guys out of the kindness of you heart  go to the trouble of giving the measurements of the cage that comes with a twin Air I will try and get one made up.

Cheers Brad.

i run a xr400 K&N airfilter on my crm which i find is better than foam ones, less maintenance and its K&N so lifetime guarantee :) think it cost 30pound if i remember right

Thanks for that but I was really after the Twin Air setup to go with full porting, boyesen duel stage reeds, Pro-Skill pipe I want it to get as much air as it can. You can get the TWIN AIR kit for the XR650R anyone know if its very different to the XR400R air filter ?
I think in the end I will have to make one for the twin air filter how hard can it be
