Saturday 1st June
Anyone interested in riding a circular route from Downton just South of Salisbury, Wilts, to Shaftsbury then back up to Salisbury & down to Downton? Ancient drover's route's some deep boggy bits but you can skirt those if needed. Probably about 5hr round trip including coffee/lunch at Compton Abbas airfield. Hopefully the link will work, nothing too technical but you will need to be insured, taxed & MOT'd.

Re: Saturday 1st June
I always slow down and make a point of saying good morning or some other cheery greeting, most are happy enough, a minority are just miserable gits who glare at you. Well if they will walk their dog on a road they shouldn't be surprised to meet some traffic. If they choose to be rude or offensive thats their choice, mine is to be polite and cheery.
Met two young ladies on horses today, we stopped, turned off engines and had a chat with them as they passed, nice horses, lovely ladies
The way i see it is we're already short of green lanes, why p*ss people off.

Hi, I've parked up at the park and ride car park in Salisbury before, then worked my way west for a couple of hours before turning around and returning on as many different lanes as possible.
I seem to be struggling on time this year, and enthusiasm in the cold miserable weather we've been having.
Mike

Re: Saturday 1st June
Looking forward to that Tony, the CRM was out yesterday and was spot on, really good fun, it's that good it's making me think about selling my faithful KTM 525
to get another 2 stroke
Got a few spares, tools, race licence & some fuel cans, don't know what else I'm going to need, any suggestions?

Spare tubes, 2 Stroke, chain links, brake pads, spare levers should be enough644andy wrote:Looking forward to that Tony, the CRM was out yesterday and was spot on, really good fun, it's that good it's making me think about selling my faithful KTM 525to get another 2 stroke
