Fitting CRM250 AR air box

Post by PJCRM »

Hi. I have had the back end stripped down for a general overhaul. Just refitting the air box now and can only see that the air box is retained by the band clamp on the carburettor. Is that correct? Are there any other fixings? Sorry of this is a rather simple question!
thanks,
Phil.

Thanks for putting up the photo. So that little screw does go into the airbox on the RHS after the sub frame is fitted but are there any other fixings retaining the air box before the rear sub frame is fitted?
Is the air box fully supported by the band clamp on the carb prior to fitting the subframe?
Thanks for any feedback.

Just have a look for any female threads on the air box, that should tell you all you need to know.

Theres no other fixing points on the main frame for it, not on the mk3 anyway.
