Balancing shaft!!
has anyone ran there crm without the balancing shaft i friend of mine used to race tzr's and said alot of the lads used to run without them?
i imagine some smoothness would be sacraficed here but should increase topend performance with less weight to turn internally?
anybody lightened there flywheel or used a different one?
cheers

If you take out your balancer shaft it will just vibrate more, don't know about the top end bit tho. Mine has got a heavier fly wheel compared to my old man's crm on it but it came with the bike. It sounds like it has a deeper tick over on it like the cr500 but it also creates more torque but not a snappy of the throttle so it has a smoother run. Most four stroke have them on to stop them from keep stalling all the time.
