OK chaps, September is now upon us. If we are going to have a meet up this month then I need some feed back. Such as who is coming and where do you want to go? I can sort us out a fist full of lanes around Leicestershire and Northamptonshire and if I know we are meeting over here I can start to find a camp site or B&B. YOUR CALL !!
Is DBK still about? - not herd from him in the last couple of weeks. He recommended Worcester so I have bought a couple of OS maps for out that way and I might be able to find a 4X4er who might mark up some lanes for us in that area.

DBK your back

. I thought you had gone for good. I would be happy if you could wait but don't let me hold up the procedings

. I will still be happy to sort things out for the meet up and will still come along. My pains are worst in the morning just as I get up (takes a good 5 mins just to get out of bed)

but as the day goes on it does get better, but I Daren't get on a bike incase of nother off then I really will be f****d. If you can stick it out for a few weeks more (pos 4 weeks) then I should be ok,

but don't let me hold it up as I will be glad just to come over and swap stories over a camp fire

(that is getting pissed as a rat as I will not be out riding the next day)

. There is more of you than there is me so lets do it.
No emoticons for totally pissed off
well whats the score??

ive got a brand now knarly knobbly michelin enduro comp 3 rear tyre - she wants to eat dirt ......
whos up for it??
where when
i think ian is the experienced one in this game what with his mention of ordance survey maps and stuff .... i dont mind waiting a week or 2....
went to some place in dartford last weekend - its like an old dirt track around a lake - no jumps but great adrenalin opening her up on the shingle straights - let that front tyre slip a bit and you loose it - just like my mate did on a cr250 and fractured his wrist - i got a stone in the face - felt like a half a house brick ......
lets see some replys then!!!!

HI Chaps, good to see some movement on this site again

. As to experience DBK, I don't think so

I like to have a dabble but not too quick (except falling off). Any way the ribs are starting to mend

but I think it's more like a brused kidney that is giving me the most grief

. Had a day out on my road bike this week

, and I am out on a horse trial with the Derbyshire TRF tomorrow on the CRM so I will see how I go

. I am hoping that all will be ok so if everyone is still willing I think we should still get on with the meet up A.S.A.P.
Looking forward to some feed back

.

I'm still up for a ride out depending on when & where.
Do we have a venue in mind ?
It would be better sooner rather than later due to weather & work.
If you want to talk more mail me on:

Hi Ian,
Im sorry but I wont be able to make it as I broke the scapoid in my left hand and two fingers on the right are extremely sore and bruised.
Gonna be in plaster for another 6 weeks and out of action at least until the end of November.
Next year for sure.

I am sorry to hear about your hand and 2 pinkys that must hurt like hell. But don't be disalussioned as you could always get an automatic bike and that way you will not need your left hand.
O.K it's been 2 weeks since we said we should leave it another week or so. It's now time to sort out when and confirm where. If it is just the 3/4 of us then so be it. Stevemcg2003 and DBK please confirm your interest and give a date you want to meet November 1st and 2nd is out for me but I hope it will be before that any way. Any where in the country is also ok. I now have access to all O.S maps from Leeds down, due to a very kind CRMer.
If anyone else wants to come it is not too late. Post message here or email me direct on
[email protected] Don't be too worried if you are not very experienced as I have only been riding my CRM for about 6 months - the more you ride the quicker you get.

I'm still up for a blat & try somewhere new
I sometimes work at the weekends, at present I CANNOT do the following :
4 & 11 October
1 & 21 November
If the generally feeling is that one of these dates is good for the majority I'm happy to sit this one out catch up the next time out.
I live in Luton & have no trailer at the moment so I'll be riding to the meet, I don't mind travelling within reason.
I went out on my lonesome last night to my local haunt (Totternhoe) but left it a little late & ended up riding down a byway in total darkness under the trees - the first time I've ridden off road at night a little scarey but good fun !
Fortunately I know the route so I was relatively safe apart from an owl who was almost as suprised to see me as I him, as he(or she ?) flew out of bush v. close at head hight
Look forward to putting names to faces

im back - went to box hill the other weekend - my nextdoor neighbor has just got hold of a \"big red pig\" otherwise known as a honda xr650 - not as responsive as the crm250 but has a bit more top end on the road - yet i still give him a run for his money - he had the taste of 2 stroke oil in his mouth when we got home!!
- shall we get something together - is it too cold now or are we just good at pub talk
ill post some pics of the weekend
