ive got enduro/road tyers on my bike now and only use it on the roads now a days,
there is a place just in to wales called glenfillyhog ( some thing like that ) near to chirk by wrexham , the trail was called the way fairers it starts at a cross road with two pubs on each side, the trail goes on for miles over the moors and theres lots of smaller runs near by,
me and my mates used to park up are van at the cross roads then do a big ride out then back to the van, fuel up then off to another trail near by,

that sounds the sort of thing were after, we want to take a tent and ride out as far as we can get during the day, sleep over night then ride back next day ill look it up on tinternet maps, cheers

Check their still legal Trails, a lot has changed in the last few years, the Police are very hot on illegal riders now, crush your bike and bill you for the pleasure of it.

select the name glyn ceiriog then put it in the googel map box ( bridge row conglton, delete ) select the langollen one stay on the b4500 untill you find two pubs on a cross roads just after you have gone over a road bridge ,

Yep thats the Hand pub the whitestones and wayfares are very close to here and both well worth riding
