I haven't been riding long so want to feel comfortable on it, will prob put the oem dogbones back On one day when I am more confident I won't fall off.

Brake hose is the standard one, not braided, suppose if could be a weak part of the line expanding.

I should really move this thread. Thanks for all the help guys, oh and my key only works for the tank and ignition unfortunately.

Changing to a braided hose is the way to go. Whether the old hose is buggered or not, the braided one will improve the brake drastically.

Will also give you more confidence seeing as your new to the bike, cos as standard the brakes are cack anyway

The original brake hose is now 20 years old and is best replaced with a braided version. I have never found a crm front brake that will not go back to the bars on the original hose.

I have a CRF master cylinder and calliper with a braided hose. One finger will stick the bike on its nose with the SM setup but two are required with the off road wheels.

lol, thats where I am looking - maybe its because i am at work, that can make some web pages appear different.

Can see rss feed links, who is online, post a reply, powered by, etc etc but nothing which says donate.

It is probably there and I cant see for looking. Was only a pic of my bike after i have lowered the back anyway. Will donate when i find it! cant even give away a tenner today !
