Setting up clutch and throttle travel

Hey guys, I am nearig the end of a very long engine rebuild (very long because I seemed to misplace my motivation somewhere between last autumn and Christmas, if anyone finds it for me then please forward it on to me, it is much missed...)
anyway.... can someone tell me how to set up the throttle and clutch travel... it doesn't seem to be described either in the LT manual or the rebuild sequence that often has a link posed on here. I'm presuming throttle is a little bit of slack before it takes up the play and then all the way until the slider hits the endstop. Clutch I'm not so sure about.....

Cheers

Ed

Hi ed , I think your reading too much into This ,,Just set your cables so there a little slack and your done , The idea is to leave it slack so you know the cables definatly off when its off..Theres always a finetune adjuster anyways ,,As for motivation ,,Find a friend , Phone a friend and make plans for the summer ,, sunshine and late nights are not far away now.

ok - cheers - I'll go with these for the 1st ride and see how that goes. Got a little bit of work to do yet as I'm going to respray the rather manky genny cover and also respray the exhaust. She should look lovely and shiny then as I've already done the frame where the paint had worn away.

I would love to spray my engine covers too but as mine is an italian import i think the heat has had an effect on the surface of the covers ,, Its kinda dusty and has a loose surface to it ,,If i sand it down it may disintergrate????
