Indicators always alight??

Post by dabbi » 21 Feb 2006, 21:50

Hi everybody,

I just bought my first CRM 250 ever. I bought it on ebay last week in the UK, it is a CRM 250 AR Modell 1999. As I am from Germany I am wondering that all 4 indicators stay alight all the time at \"low rate\", and when turning them on (right or left) they are completely alight. Is that normal, as the person I bought it from told me.

My second concern is the mileage it has got some 46,000 km on the clock, but it really is in mint condition looks like having done 4600 km only, anybody any idea how come?

Cheerrs, Dabbi

Not sure about the indicators but its proberly been ridden on the road only, that being the reason why it is so tidy at 45+k's. Remember 1999 model is now 7 years old so 7 years of 6500k's a year isnt alot for a commuter!!

Quite normal for the indicators that. nothing wrong with them.
You have just won the award for the higest mileage CRM on the planet. let alone a 99 AR for gods sake.
The prize is a new set of piston rings

Well, the reason why I ask about the mileage is its condition. The entire bike is in absolutely stunning condition, all plastic parts look like brand new, no rust anywhere, the logo CRM on the seat is still 100 % in order even if having been ridden on the road only, there should be some evidence of 46,000 km.

Even both golden lids on the engine, right and left, have no scratches whatsoever. of course I am happy about the appearance, but afraid what could happen to the engine

Cheers, Dabbi
