Hi all ,First of all i have searched the forum on this matter and still cant find the link i saw on the subject ,so sorry if its a repeat..

I have removed front wheel and fitted new tyre, Upon refitting front wheel
the bike will no longer glide in a straight line with my hands off the bars:(i like rideing like this).As i did everythig in reverse to refit the wheel i cant see whet else i could have done ,Is there a trick or something i missed when refitting the wheel ,
ps. i dont think i got the wheel balanced after i had the tyre fitted , Was this a big mistake?
any ides anyone , thanks

just wondering if you have a sticky caliper or pistons?this will cause a weave ,or if its wobbleing could be loose head bearings or folk bushes.what tyre is it ?off road -on road?once had the same problen with a off road as the tyre hadnt seated properly.can tell by spinning the wheel.or possably the brake disc has been damaged when fitting the tyre

Hmm food for thought there Thanks for the quick reply..I dont think its the tyre , its a brigstone tw , I did however fit new pads aswell when i refitted it . ill look at the caliper to see if its free and returning ok..

also ,

the bike rides a treat , no wobble or drift , The problem is i dont think the wheels on right because it wants to move to the right when i try and balance it without holding on ,as it did before ,

is the speedo drive fitted securley and in the right position?

Had a similar problem on my MK2 after fitting new pads, found the disk
was slightly warped and the old pads had compensated for this, new pads were grabbing when braking causing pulsing on the front brake lever ,ended up buying new disks.

try and get the wheel rebalanced if that doesnt work then put a tyre weight in it it should help
