I drained my oil and coolant then had the cover off. I put in some nice new friction plates that had been soaked oil for 2 hours.

I put everything back together and replaced the fluids.

Guess what??.......................The bloody thing won't start!!!

What could I have done wrong??

strange one eh.if you filled the radiator did you spill water near the coil?just a wild guess, cant think of anything else that could have gone wrong. keep us posted if you find out .or could have disturbed the side stand switch when draining the oil

My Advice.

Start from scratch - check for a spark and fuel first and take it from there.

I checked and cleaned the spark plug, reset and bled the oil pump and cleaned the carb.

She started.
