Fork oil level

Whilst overhauling my forks I made a fork oil level tool which did the job admirably and only cost coppers.
First off I got a short length of small diameter rgid pipe, (car brake pipe would do) about 10in. long.
To this attach a piece of flexible pipe. Attach a syringe to the other end of the flexible pipe.
Find a grommet that is a tight fit on the rigid pipe and slide it up until it is the correct distance from the open end you requie your level to be below the top of the stanchion (108mm in my case, Mk2)
Drop the rigid pipe into the forkleg resting the grommet on the top of the stanchion.
Fill with oil until oil level is above open end of pipe, then simply suck out with syringe until you are pulling air.
Fork level set spot on, easy.
