OK guys and gals
How's about a summer meet, Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th of August 2007

I'm riding up to Penrith for the CCM owners summer get together, don't see why we can't meet at the same place and dates
Campsite details:

Sykeside Camping Park,
Brotherswater
Patterdale, Penrith
Cumbria. CA11 ONZ

Tel: Glenridding 017684 82239

http://www.lakesnet.co.uk/accommodation ... index.html

You'll need to phone them and book a space for your tent as soon as possible

The CCM guys will all be on supermotos and will be road riding around all the local passes (Hardknot, Kirkstone etc etc)
Great weekend and great roads/scenery

So who's gonna join me and who's a softy Northerner/Southerner

I'll be riding my CRM there and back (about 800 miles in all :o ), but everyone else is using a van/trailer (ruddy softies :D )

Barbeque and beers in the evening, local pubs etc etc

No there's no CRM weekend, but there's no reason we can't make this the first of many to come eh ?

Probably best to have two per year, one Norter meet and another Southern meet

So come on peeps, who else is up for this ?

Trouble is most people aren't willing to travel, some even think 100 miles is too far to go, given that "the middle" is somewhere around Derbyshire I'd suspect that a lot of Northerners would moan as would Southerners
As for me I don't give a hoot as long as I have a hoot :D

its always a problem getting people to travel, what about using an already organised event to be the meet. like one of the rallys next year, people needto have a good venue to go to. it would be good to get hold of an old quarry or sommat and just go play, but how many people would show???
