Are there any quick fix lighting upgrades for mk2 CRMS? drove it in the dark last night for the first time (back home from TRF meeting), very dissapointed would be an understatement!

Used main beam all the way and nobody noticed!

can you fit a more powerfull bulb? is there an after market light unit that doesn't look out of place?

thanks

Phil

radiation, a glow worm or a miners hat are also better than a MK2, took it out in the dark once got lost couldn`t find my way home. (and i only went to the end of the road!)

yeah the twin halogen lights look the buisness but they are poo at night
riding around the streets when there are street lights on its not a problem
try going out bush at night where there are no lights you might as well be wearing a blindfold as for putting higher wattage globes in a standard light you can do it but I wouldn't suggest it as there is no battery I have no idea what it would do to the power generating system you might blow a fuse or a relay. The light that my bike came with wasn't the standard one but it was bloody exellent it used a hella insert identical to one fitted in an 90's model audi it was extremly effective but bloody ugly and was heavy
I suggest you go and buy a twin halogen light because we all know that looks are important

 i,ve got a 92 mk2 import. (i,m located in australia) the light on my bike is original but has what i've been told is a \"semi halogen bulb\" this light leaves all my mates xrs &wrs lights for dead. (dual head lights as well) i'd never heard of these bulbs before but the bike shop tells me thats what it is. hope this helps.
cheers rikkster

I like the idea of the 85w one, not sure if the wiring would be up for it though... $54 doesn't seem a bad price, probably double it with shipping though:(

that would be cool, which one did you order? I do worry about the fact that it is only 35w as standard, do you know what the rating of the generator is?
