Hi everybody just a quick note to say hello, I've just purchased a 1992 mk2 off a dealer via ebay, he had imported it from italy and it still needs to be registerd, I have the paper work so it's just a case of time, the good news is it's in near mint condition having come from a hot climate and never been off road, it even still has all it's warning stickers in place! the bad news is the total lack of grease, the head bearings are more notchey than a hookers bed post, the speedo cable was so seized it stripped the nylon pick up,and it handles like a pig on roller skates! so in short I need to do all the bearings in chassis plus forks and shock. I had the same thing with my xr650, the man at Honda with the grease pot must do the crm's too or not as the case may be.
I'm looking forward to getting stuck into it so look out for some silly questions .

Welcome PH Good luck on the rebuild, and i hope you dont need to buy to many parts to get it sorted. As for questions, fire away. There's always someone on here to give good advice
