I was wondering how much 2 stroke oil the tank in the frame holds as ive worked out you can only see 100ml in the sight tube. Im guessing the tank is alot deeper than it appears. Does anyone know exactly how much it holds?

I've got a MK2 Tom, with the oil in the frame like yours. Not sure of the amount of oil that the frame will hold, but it equates to about 2 1/2 - 3 tanks full of petrol used.

i reckon eh? rene you best check the cable that controls the oil pump - i think that may be why my oil lasted so long due to it being so freyed.

the AR system was added to make the bikes better on emsions, as a bi product it made it much better on oil and petrol

the last owner had filled the tank with crappy oil, think i will drain the tank from the bottom and measure how much comes out then top it up with some high quality silkolene oil.

tom if you drain the tank, you'll need to bleed the oil pump before you run the motor
