hey there all, ive got a mk3 crm and just read sliders report on the w.o.r event back in december which he did!really fancy givin it a blast at the end of feb if possible.just wondering if all the experiance days are around 50 quid as i cant find a price on there site : :D

allan theres around 10 of our lot(the muddy monkeys) doing the next red day on 3/3/08.the costs are roughly £50 per red day,they book up fast so if your thinking about it,sort it quickly

cheers for that buddy,just booked it online but the only one i could find was for sat 1st march!just hope its not too much for me,been riding a crm for bout 2 years now mostly on the roads but occasionly jumpin up onto the grass verges 4 a play.just got another crm mk3 bout a month ago and thought i would use that for these types of things.as i know very little about these events do you know if the bike has to have mot,tax and insurance and what tyres are the best for this type of event?thanks for your help so far and a crackin site you got here. Oh one more thing have you a location where it will take place?sorry to go on abit! : :D

no probs allan,no the bike doesn't have to be road legal,you can turn up with a full on mx weapon and they'll let you take part :wink: .bike prep is down to you they don't scrutineer the bikes,only thing that may cause problems is excessive noise.tyre wise you can use enduro or mx tyres but with not having been to this site i dont know what the terrain is like so cant really specify a particular type.
this event is is to be held at llandrillo,just below corwen,n/wales.the track will be sign posted from the nearest main road with orange direction arrows.

your right,the event is the 1st of march not the 3rd,that was me havin a mong moment :wink: :lol:

theres quite a few doing it and some of em are spanky new to off road,sign up,join in with the thread and you'll have a bunch of folks to chat and have a larf with mate

cheers for the info buddy i live in redditch just outside birmingham!took a trip up leisure trail and got me some new tyres sprokets and a bashplate just incase!got my race number through so all set !ill be the only 1 on a bloody pink bike.if you dont mind me askin what level have you entered at? :)

i cant ride this one as i'm at work :evil:.it doesn't matter what level you enter at because its the race experience day so theres no classes as such.

i'm gonna try to do the one beginning of april,fingers crossed.

if you see 2 wr450's with throttle monkey stickers on,it'll be paul and bill,go over and introduce yourself. :D
