LOWERING LINKS

I had a preliminary run at the lowering project. This first lot i had made out of stainless steel , i had calculated that about 15 mm extra length should drop the bikes overall height by about 30 mm or so.It actually dropped it by about 55 mm .
This was just to much lower ,even with dropping yokes by about 20 mm so a slightly shorter set will be needed,of about 8mm longer than standard 100mm cntrs.
Whilst the bike rode fine at this reduced stature ,on full compression the tip of the mudguard just rubbed on the back wheel , some spacer washers may also have been needed to help the arms clear the bottom of the shock linkage by a little more.
