hi folks,
good to discover this site.
i have just added my first crm to the stable ( 2 x cbr600 an 1x xr250) the xr is in rebuild status and will be rather tweeked when it finally fingers crossed appears back in one piece out of my garage.
the crm i have bought is a mk1 1989 with 16000km on her clock in standard red. drove it home 152 miles yesterday 50% of journey on "b" roads with a motocross rear on.
she does need some cosmetics doing, gaitors, seat cover and front muguard ( got my eye on a ufo neon red one already lol) and a few other minor tweeks along with my usual rip it to bits and grease, copaslip everything as required .then a service. so a couple of days pampering her lie ahead.lol
held full uk ticket for 27 yrs ,drive bikes nearly every day and have mostly owned honda's. more than handy with a set of spanners and my way around bikes, actually i quite enjoy rebuilding them if i'm honest.
off road experience is limited ,but i do like to potter around given the chance.....don't we all.
no doubt i will have several questions most of which will have been asked before over the next wee while .i will however try to search the answers fist.
anything else you want to know feel free to aks away.........d
